George Capital (Glasgow) Ltd are preparing an application for Detailed Planning to transform Nile House with the possible inclusion of an aparthotel, student accommodation and co-working spaces. A Proposal of Application Notice was submitted to Glasgow City Council on 15th June 2021 (Ref: 21/01966/PAN). Full planning permission was previously granted in June 2020 (Ref: 18/03299/FUL) for a 15 storey hotel. Also, Conservation Area Consent was granted in June 2020 (Ref: 18/03300/CON) for demolition of the buildings on site.
